Save Kythnos is dedicated to organizing and hosting various events and actions, against the installation of wind farms on the island of Kythnos, focusing, at the same time, on raising awareness for education and community participation in the preservation of the cultural heritage and natural environment of Kythnos, onshore and offshore.

We believe in the power of every individual's involvement. Through discussions, demonstrations, workshops, seminars and educational programs, we aim to raise awareness and strengthen the sense of responsibility towards the unique heritage of Kythnos.

Building a Community

Just as our ancestors shaped the cultural landscape of Kythnos stone by stone, uniting individuals, organizations and stakeholders, we are building a strong movement to protect Kythnos from the irreparable damage of the planned wind farms on the island and its surrounding marine area. Our goal is to hand over Kythnos to the next generations having preserved its cultural and environmental wealth.
